Hiking

Old water mill dependent on the abbey of Ename and probably dating back to the 11th century. Seized and sold during the French Revolution in 1793. Probably a corn and oil mill until the sale in 1868, shortly afterwards the oil mill disappeared. Renovation and expansion works were carried out by the new owner J. Simoens in 1883. Activity stopped after a fatal accident in 1969. Now set up as a catering business.
