    Hiking

The Sugar Loaf, with its distinctive cliffs, is evidence of intense volcanic activity around 300 million years ago. Earthquakes created cracks and crevices that caused acidic magma to rise, which erupted its way and eventually led to the formation of a lava dome that must have emerged very slowly on the surface of the earth. The opposite rock of the gods was also created as part of this process.

    Hiking

The Sugar Loaf is next to the rock of the gods and the high zeal the most important rock viewpoint above the Triebisch valley. There are only a few narrow paths leading to the Sugar Loaf, making it the most natural of these viewpoints.

    Hiking

Before the railway bridge, turn right towards Sugar Loaf Mountain. Beautiful view.
