Hiking
On the ridge path of the Kranichsberg, actually called the "Rennsteig", there is a rest area on the western descent with a view of the Flakensee and as far as Erkner. The Eichberg in Woltersdorf (a former garbage and construction waste dump) can be seen to the west.
