In the northern part of the Märkisches Viertel there are two lakes. The smaller Mittelfeldbecken, which can only be reached via park paths, and the twice as large Seggeluchbecken (the name comes from Segge for reed grass and Luch for swamp), which is divided by a road bridge. Both lakes are connected by small ditches.

Tall houses and two small lakes in between. The Seggeluch basin is the larger lake. It is connected to the smaller, the midfield basin, by ditches. I always find it impressive when the residential silos of the Märkisches Viertel are reflected in the water.
