As beautiful as the landscape is, the story of the displaced residents and the destroyed farms and towns is just as sad when the border hermetically sealed and militarily secured by the GDR ran not far from here.

Hiking

There were once several farmsteads here, including a restaurant. Since this became a border area after the Second World War, the farms were cleared piece by piece from 1953 to 1974. After around 300 years of existence, the owners (residents) were forced by the GDR state to leave their property.
God brought them here and then the devil drove them out!
From 1974 onwards the courtyards were demolished (razed). :-(
