Of the options to climb the Gläser(berg) with the Dermbacher Hütte, this is definitely the most exciting option. Coming from Dermbach, after leaving the forest, you see the Dermbacher Hütte as a lonely house, but also as an extremely dominant building directly on the top of the mountain. The ascent is steeper than other route variants, but a bit more sporty and offers this impressive perspective of the hut and summit cross.
