Narurpark Elmpter Schwalmbruch extends along the Schwalm and Venekoten lakes to the Dutch border. It includes heath and moor areas. Juniper berries grow here and there is a lot of mixed forest. It often happens that the trees fall over after the storm because they have no solid base. From the observation tower there is an opportunity to observe the unique landscape from above.
A variety of animals and birds complete the paradise.

We have already walked several of the 'Wasser.Wander.Welten' hiking routes and were always impressed. The Schwalmbruch premium hiking trail did not disappoint us either, but offered an entertaining and varied circular hike. The Maas-Schwalm-Nette Nature Park is a truly fantastic destination with a magical natural idyll and offers a good opportunity to escape from everyday life. I can highly recommend the Schwalmbruch premium hiking trail, I really liked it and it is also very easy to walk. Beautiful views, forest and moorland landscapes alternate here.
