The project is a compensation area for the construction of the Roßdorf bypass. A waterlogging was implemented on an area of around 6 hectares, which is particularly useful for reasons of bird protection. Current bird observations show that the area has developed splendidly as a resting and resting place for the birds as a result of the current management.
