With the fourth large landscape sculpture "Sola Gratia", the regional art project in the Braunschweig area has come to an end on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.
The twelve-ton work of art made of Soest sand-lime brick near Groß Denkte is part of the "Stones of Faith" series, which is intended to commemorate the four central insights of Martin Luther (1483-1546).
The approximately 3.30 meter high sculpture shows a hand in which a family can be seen in several generations and is intended to symbolize divine grace. The title "Sola Gratia" means "Alone by grace". The connections between the four locations form a cross on a map that lays over the Brunswick landscape like a blessing cross. Incidentally, the artist Kleine-Tebbe is one of the few sculptors in Germany who primarily work figuratively and out of Christian conviction.

The more than three meter high limestone sculpture Sola Gratia tells with its symbols of life as a gift, of love and of nature to be preserved. On the one hand it shows an old person looking after a child. On the other side are a pregnant woman and a man. The symbol of grace is the hand of God, a bull symbolizes nature to be preserved.

The Sola Gratia is one of four sculptures by the sculptor Magnus Kleine-Tebbe.
Sola Gratia (God's gracious hand) is one of four sculptures for the four solos of Martin Luther.
An art project for the anniversary / 500 years of the Reformation.
other sculptures by Magnus Kleine - Tebbe can be found in Bienrode (Braunschweig), the Solus Christ, on the small Fallstein (Hornburg) the Sola Fide, near Salzgitter the Sola Scriptura, yes that would be four. But in Lucklum (LK Wolfenbüttel) there are other impressive sculptures, just awesome!
