Today I took a look at the remains of the Mehrum coal-fired power plant, which is currently being demolished. One building and the cooling tower have already been blown up. The boiler house is currently being prepared for demolition. As far as I know, it is scheduled to be blown up on November 7th

The weather was windy but nice. So I ate another ice cream 😁. However, the queue at my favorite ice cream parlor was so long that I had to go to the competitor next door 🙄. So today ice cream was only second choice and also unfriendly service 😟. On the other hand, 25% cheaper 😮.

Today I went on a nice sightseeing gravel tour to Kaiserpfalz WERLA. Surprisingly, I had never been there before 😮. Just like in the Hedwigsburg Castle Park. So I explored two new spots at once 😉. The highlight today, however, was that I met @Lothar at the Kaiserpfalz. A very nice Komoot user 🤗.

Just wanted to see if a kayak tour on the Oker from home to the MLK would be an option this year. . well, where you can easily get there by MTB 😉. But it was quickly clear that this would not be a nice kayak tour 🤷♂️. Maybe next year will be better 🙂
