The LindenZentrum, built by Otto Lopp in 1958-1960 as one of the front buildings of the Lindenallee, used to be the textile department store "Magnet". In 1999, after a long period of vacancy, it was converted into a commercial and service building, including the city library. On the north side is the oversized wall mosaic "Work for Peace" by Walter Womacka, which can also be found under the name "German-Polish-Soviet Friendship" 🤔.
