20251007 Vorm Heimflug in den Unabhängigkeitspalast
Ein paar Stunden hatte ich noch und da war die ca. 3 stündige Besichtigung genau das Richtige. Obwohl, der Palast ist sehr sehenswert aber die zusätzliche Ausstellung zu seiner Geschichte könnte man sich sparen.

20251005 Rund durch die Stadt
Viel gesehen da bis auf 1km mit "Grab"-Taxi zu Fuß unterwegs. Leider schließen die Tempel scheinbar 17 Uhr und der Markt der bis 18 Uhr geöffnet ist war 1 Stunde früher auch schon fast zu. Und die älteste Pagode Chua Giac Lam aus dem neuen Marco Polo Reiseführer gab es gar nicht, etliche Kilometer umsonst gelaufen.

20251002 Busfahrt zum Marmorberg und zum Affenberg
Für 22€ wird man vom Hotel abgeholt und ein Guide erklärt die Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Tempelanlage auf dem Marmorberg stammt aus den 1960iger bis 90er Jahren, die 67m hohe Buddha Frau wurde 2004 bis 2009 errichtet.

Why do you do that when it's 35°C and the humidity is so high?
