A chapel stood here until 1799. This was first mentioned in 1529 and was probably donated by two Rechberg counts who got lost in the forest. They were saved and donated the chapel to St. Patron of the horse Koloman.

In 1699 the chapel was renewed before a Reliqiue of St. Koloman from Melk Monastery was housed here. A pilgrimage here developed accordingly. This, in turn, did not please the enlightened pastor Rink from Böhmenkirch. He had the chapel demolished in 1799.

The memorial stone that can be found here was erected by the Böhmenkirch volunteer fire brigade in 2000.

A new Koloman chapel can now be found in the village of "Heidhöfe".
