Otto Jäger lived from June 6, 1827 to August 23, 1892, was a partner in the Barmer paint (aniline) factory Carl Jäger at Viktoriastraße 4, member of the Chamber of Commerce founded in 1871, of the Barmer Bankverein, member of the board of the Barmer construction company for workers' housing, and a member of parliament of the Provincial Parliament and campaigned for urban orphanages. His social and local political activities were exemplary!
