Tips

  • A beautiful, round, stone belt mill / corn mill from 1875 is a national monument. The name Vento Vivimus means: 'We live from the wind'. In 1945 the mill, which had suffered heavy war damage, was restored. In the winter of 1944/1945, the Waal was a front area between the Germans in the north and the Allies in the south. That is why the mill had suffered a lot of damage.
