-The shooting-place in the vunettes of Vught
On 20 December 1947, this memorial was inaugurated by the Dutch Princess Juliana as a national monument.
Here at the shooting-place
26 limestone panels were lined up in a wall.
On these boards were listed 124 towns and villages - from Alkmaar to Zwolle-.
Below the 26 limestone tiles on a sandstone base, a quote from the Dutch national anthem was immortalized:
I remain faithful to the fatherland
to the death <
