Really a highlight to hike around 600 meters above the Moerputtenbrug, a former railway bridge on the Hertogenbosch - Vlijmen route, and to admire the water lilies.

But it is also worthwhile to hike the surroundings in the moor turkeys on the artificially created wooden walkways.
But be careful, when wet, the wooden walkways can be dangerously smooth and slippery .....

The highlight is the bridge that is very beautiful in the landscape. Many types of special mushrooms in that area

The Moerputtenbrug was restored in 2006 with the help of the EU and is now a real highlight for hikers and walkers.
The water lilies on the lake are so beautiful that you can't take your eyes off them.
So the 600 meters that we hike over the bridge are a great experience ...

Very nice here in the Moerputten, a nature reserve close by
‘S- Hertogenbosch, also called Den Bosch.
    The capital of North Brabant.

Walking over the man-made wooden walkways in the Moerputten is a beautiful and special experience that you will remember fondly and for a long time.
    Here you meet pure nature.
    🌱🌳🌲🌿🍃.
But you also have to be careful!
When it's wet, the wooden walkways that meander through the wetland in some bends can be dangerously smooth and slippery in certain places.

The 600 meter long railway bridge is a beautiful example of industrial heritage from the 19th century. The enormous stately colossus consists of a riveted iron construction that rests on 35 masonry pillars.

Walk across the bridge, but don't forget the deck next to it in the water. Then you see the bridge from a different perspective.

It is quite an experience to walk here again in December, very different from the summer but no less impressive. You can take the yellow route (wells) and / or the blue (half soles). And for dessert you can also take the path to the right after about 150 meters (with the bridge in sight). Is also a beautiful path. Unfortunately, with the end in sight, there is a gate on the left, so the only drawback is that you have to go back to the parking lot over the road. You can of course also choose to take the route back.

This is a nice stretch for a short walk. Keep an eye on! Come early because by noon it is usually busy and you can no longer park your car.

The railway bridge, which was renovated in 2011, is accessible to pedestrians. Information panels about the history of this bridge can be found on both sides of the bridge.
