I've always wanted to take a photo of the begging oak. I wish I was there. 😐

In summery temperatures, the Dachstein cable car took us to the Dachstein.
With about 20 cm of fresh snow and sun, it was a bit difficult to walk to the Seethalerhütte without snow claws under the shoes, as the snow was quite slushy.
      The Seethalerhütte has 27 beds.
Some climbers were on their way to the Dachstein summit.
In the late afternoon there were a few gaps in the clouds and we had breathtaking views from the suspension bridge & from the "stairs to nowhere" (Skywalk).
You can only get to the suspension bridge with Skywalk for a fee of 3 € / per person. The Summer Card cannot be used for this experience. 🙋‍♀️

The starting point is the Almgasthaus Riesachfall.
Past the Riesachfall in the “Höll” alpine trail with the highlight: the suspension bridge over the Riesach waterfall to the Riesachsee.
From here it goes over a forest path past several alpine pastures to the hiking trail (alpine character) that leads to the Praintalerhütte.
The Praintalerhütte is sometimes the starting point for various high-altitude hiking trails.
The weather today was perfect for such a breathtaking mountain tour.
We could even see the mountain peaks very well today after a few rainy days.
Have fun if you go hiking

The starting point today is the Eschachalmhütte. We reached this very relaxed with the hiking bus from Schladming.
The hiking bus is free for Summer Card holders and you can save the daily parking fee of 6-9 € per day.
The Eschachalmhütte is located in the Obertal of the Schladminger Tauern.
From the Eschachalmhütte our way led to the Neualm (not managed) and then on to the Duisitzkarsee.
Most of our tour led over hiking trails, some of which were alpine in character. We also crossed some waterfalls in narrow places (ford). Due to the constant drizzle today, it was a bit difficult to run over the wet stones and roots😉.
Today's tour is part of the “Wild Waters 💦” tour proposal.
      Have fun after hiking.

The starting point today was the Planai mountain station at 1830 m.
With the Planai gondola and the summer card (all free of charge), the mountain tour started with low clouds, 3 degrees and sometimes rain.
Via the Planai panorama path and the alpine huts to the Planai summit and then continue on a steady ascent to the summit cross from the Krahbergzinken. The last 20 m to the summit cross we had to use step irons and rope insurance.
As soon as we arrived at the summit cross, we descended again relatively quickly because of the pebbles of snow.
During the descent we actually had small moments with gaps in the sky.
We are proud to have made the tour in the modest weather conditions

Today the Friedenskirchl and the summit cross from the Stoderzinken were on the program.
Unfortunately the weather gods weren't on our side. We were accompanied by rain and fog.
From time to time we could treat ourselves to a view of the Ennstal when the clouds were breaking up.
From the Friedenskirchl we used the Florasteig (via ferrata category A) to the summit cross for the further ascent.
The descent from the summit cross was via the summit hiking trail.
With the weather we were really happy that everything went well🙃😀.
Due to the weather, we shortened our tour. Originally we wanted to go to the Gröbminger Blick ... maybe next time 😜

Route: Start in Schladming - Talbachklamm - Landalm - Ahlhof - Toteisboden - Tettermoor - Waldhäuselalm - Sondl Alm - small Riesach waterfall - large Riesach waterfallSince the weather today was better than predicted, a tour on the topic of Wild Waters took us to the great Riesach waterfall.
Our path meandered steadily in the ascent over the Talbachklamm, long alpine meadows and alpine huts to the Riesach waterfall.
The alpine huts, some of them very rustic, invite you to linger.
In the Schladming region, as in the Harz, there is a stamp booklet. We are also busy stamping ... hihihi
From the Almgasthaus Riesachfall we went back to Schladming with the hiking bus. The hiking bus is free of charge with the Sommer Card.

Mostly paved paths, but also larger sections with gravel and gravel that are difficult to drive on. But great views and interesting information along the way.
