The Lambertushof is a unique square in the center of Helmond, behind the Lambertus Church. It has existed since 2001. First under the name To Hölscherhof, but later it was thought more logical to return it to the original working name Lambertushof.
The square contains a number of studio houses and the “Mater Dei” building that many Helmond residents still know as a monastery or (later in use) as a domestic school. This building, together with the church, provides a closed but intimate character.
The presence of poetry columns, studios and small-scale private shops give the whole a beguinage-like atmosphere.

Throughout the year, the square hosts changing sculpture exhibitions. Several residents have established a foundation with the goal of organizing various artistic events at this unique location.
