Helen Bur is known for her abstract, dreamy works and paid an impressive tribute to the singer Arno at the Ostend town hall

Helen Bur, a young but established name in street art, has previously painted Ostend portraits in our streets. Now she was given a very special assignment. At the beginning of 2020, it became known that rock singer and phenomenon Arno suffers from pancreatic cancer and that news hit hard, also with the curator of The Crystal Ship Bjørn Van Poucke. The British Helen Bur, known for her dreamy works, therefore paid an impressive tribute to the singer at the Ostend town hall. The image exudes emotion and Arno, who is continuing to recover in the meantime, is already satisfied: “It gives me a mental erection.”
