No more steel cable insurance at the Riffelscharte (June '23), you have to shimmy through very loose scree along the rock. Insurance only begins again after crossing the gap in the ascent.

Definitely enough time to enjoy this view and this place! The way from Eibsee is not easy at the end, sturdy shoes are recommended. The ascent over Höllental is a bit easier. From the Riffeltorkopf it is not far to the southern Riffelspitze.
