The church in Oberrosphe is slightly elevated and in the middle of the village. The first church (today Protestant) was built around 1000.
The service takes place here every 14 days. The times can be found on the homepage, the latest community letter, in the showcase or from the Wetteraner Bote.

This church was first mentioned in the 12th century. Over the millennia, the church has been rebuilt and changed again and again. If you look at the church from the outside you can see 3 different components:Once the middle part in ancient masonry with a small round south entrance, which is now walled up with a grave slab; it was created in the Romanesque period around 1100.
Then the late Gothic choir from the 15th century, also built on old foundations.
And the modern brick front part together with the half-timbered upper floor with the year 1724.Around 1800 the roof turret with the bell tower and clockwork was put on.
