    There are masts along the Waaldijk where many storks have their nests. And if you walk down the dike between Rossum and Hurwenen, you will see an entire field on the left where the owner of the field has placed even more stork nests.
    Another fact: those same masts on the dike were in the news about 14 years ago because a Chinook had flown into the cables and the entire region (including this writer) was without power for 3 days in the winter.
