The Kurhaus Kleinzschachwitz is located directly on the Elbe, across from Pillnitz Castle.

The building, which was built in 1882 as a hotel and restaurant, stands on a historic small hill that was created by Napoleon. After several changes of ownership, the Kuhaus was used in its original purpose as a hotel restaurant until the end. Due to its proximity to the Elbe and the Elbe Cycle Path that runs past, the Kurhaus has been a magnet for day trippers for more than a hundred years. With the still active car ferry at the end of the street, the Elbe can be crossed towards Pillnitz Castle.
