Buhlbach Valley

In the valley you can clearly see what Lothar did in 1999. But it is always worth a trip.

Here you are in the middle of the Black Forest National Park. The very well paved path leads steadily uphill for about 9 km. The gradient is between 5 - 12% and is easy to manage with an e-bike, but you will still work up a sweat here. There are numerous water sources and a few shelters along the way. I unreservedly recommend it, it is a gem to ride here. If you are coming from above, give your brakes enough time to cool down.

Perhaps the best cycling route of all if you want to go from the Murg Valley to the Black Forest High Road: the gradient is consistently moderate, the path is consistently asphalted, and the landscape is consistently secluded. Great!
