In the Forellenhof Buhlbach of the Hotel Bareiss, fans of freshly caught fish get their money's worth. Rainbow trout, as well as salmon, golden trout and char are bred in our own breeding facility right next to the farm. Fish is nothing to you? Don't worry, as it should be in the Black Forest, there are of course also Maultaschen or a Vesper platter with ham specialties on the menu.

Hiking

Trout is the speciality, also smoked (beech wood), but other dishes are also offered, e.g. vegetarian, and very tasty; daily from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. If you want, you can take various delicacies from the "Forellenlädle" home with you.

You will inevitably pass this trout farm if you walk stage 5 of the Murgsteig or the Obertaler Heilklima circular hiking trail 3.

There are parking spaces directly at the trout farm, but also at the Loipenhütte (Nordic Active Center) in Schliffkopfstrasse; or from the "Alte Glashütte" bus stop; from there it is only about 700 m to walk.
