Sequoias from the Wilhelma region and one of the largest collections in the district.
Wilhelma seeds refer to the seeds of the giant sequoia (Wellingtonia), which were imported to Württemberg shortly after their discovery on the initiative of King Wilhelm I of Württemberg (1816–1864), cultivated, and planted throughout southwest Germany. Some of these plants, now also known as giant or mountain sequoias, have survived and are often protected as natural monuments.

A nice destination for a walk. There are many sequoia trees in our region, but nowhere else are there so many in one place and so visible from afar

Some sequoia trees were planted here and have now reached considerable heights.
