Information:
At the beginning of the 15th century, Struppen belonged to the Teutonic Knights. The construction of the castle, built from hard Struppen sandstone, certainly dates back to this period. Kleinstruppen Castle, as it was named after the division of Struppen into three parts, was, like almost all Saxon castles and manor houses, subject to frequent changes of ownership. Lapidarium at the castle: Contains a collection of stones not displayed in a large museum.
