There used to be 3 lime kilns here, of which the "Am Wolfspfad" lime kiln (built in 1924) on Hahner Strasse was restored by the city of Aachen and the history association. This funnel shaft furnace (large funnel furnace) produced 30 tons of lime per day. The lime kiln is a technical architectural monument.
