Hiking
The former Kaufmann Brewery is an impressive monument to beer production. Built in 1903 by the brewery engineers Haegele & Mayer from Ulm, it impresses with its yellow brick architecture with red brick and sandstone elements.
After its bankruptcy in 1932, the brewery was used for various purposes, with much of its original architecture remaining intact. It has been a listed building since 1979/80 and was later converted into a production hall and warehouse for cleaning products.
The director's villa from 1907, with its distinctive corner tower and half-timbered veranda, has also been preserved and restored.
