Situated within the National Stone Centre which is worth a visit and a wander around (free). The cafe at the Stone Centre is also recommended (especially for scones).

A dry stone wall is not just a dry stone wall. Very interesting and informative to have examples of the different types of dry stone walls and their information boards side-by-side. Amazing how different the wall types, and the features built into them, are. A waypoint well worth a a visit.
