Various maps refer to a Diana monument at this point. On site, the stone slab, heavily muddy and weathered, was barely recognizable as a monument. After the dirt was removed very carefully, the writing Diana could be interpreted at least to some extent, so that the stone slab must actually be part of the monument. I have not yet been able to research the background to the monument.
Maybe someone was particularly lucky here or called the goddess to protect the forest, because the goddess Diana is considered the guardian of the forest and the hunt.
