Formerly a holiday facility from the "Schwarze Pump" gas combine.

"The Buschmühle was built around 1550 by a certain Heinrich Rauchdorn and handed over to the subsequent owner 18 years later. From 1586 it was part of the administration of Stolpen Castle. During the Thirty Years' War, 6000 Swedes stayed in Rennersdorf under General Baner. They looted and destroyed numerous houses and barns, as well as the majority of the town houses of Stolpen. The church was also a victim. But not only Stolpen, but the entire area was plagued by them. They discovered the hidden bush mill in 1641 and burned The Swedes, whose custom it was to destroy the mill wheels in order to prevent the flour production, did not adhere to the martial law and "Artikulus letters", which contained the provisions not to damage or destroy plows and mills.

It was only 40 years later that the Buschmühle was rebuilt and was able to continue its grinding and cutting business. Since then, the owners and the affiliations have changed frequently between Schmiedefeld and Rennersdorf. In 1774 the Buschmühle was ordered not to undertake any modifications that might allow new grinding and cutting aisles to be put into operation. In contrast to some mills in the Wesenitztal, the Buschmühle remained a real grinding and cutting mill (1). In the winter of 1927/28 the mill burned down again, but was rebuilt and, until the final shutdown in 1962, it was a popular restaurant next to the mill. "
