Beautiful path on the edge of the city. You hardly meet any tourists here. The rock path is named after the youngest daughter of Empress Elisabeth. The two visited Heidelberg several times. The path is closed in the winter months. Addition from 07/28/24 - The bridge over the tracks no longer exists - entry from below is now via the platform - when you get to the top, there was a barrier for the way down.

Closed in winter from 01.11-28.02. I was there on March 3rd and it was open (the barriers were still around). Unfortunately the trail was littered and youth groups were partying while I walked by - not what I would have expected here on a weekday afternoon.
