Protestant Church Zotzenbach

The Protestant church stands in the heart of the village, and the Protestant parish is present in the heart of village life. Services and concerts, as well as programs for children, young people, and adults, invite you to a life shaped by community and Christian faith.Zotzenbach has been Protestant since the Reformation and formerly belonged to the Rimbach parish. When Rimbach was about to get a second pastor around 1862, the people of Zotzenbach offered to build a church using parish funds. The church and rectory were completed in 1877; since then, Zotzenbach has been an independent parish and today has around 900 members.The church was renovated from 2009 to 2013 – the roof was re-roofed, and the exterior facade was restored.
