The Schwarzbachtrasse runs for around 2 km from the former Wichlinghausen train station past the Hilgershöhe residential area to Langerfeld and connects around 50,000 other citizens to the Nordbahntrasse - there are no separate areas for pedestrians and cyclists. The route is paved as in the outer areas of the northern railway route.
This does not detract from your attractiveness. The 29 m high bridge over the Schwarzbach road, a 280 m long tunnel and deep cuts are special elements. Citizens' interest was great from the start. Several hundred people took part in the route tours.
