The weir of the Havichhorster Mühle is located 4.2 km before the confluence with the Ems and is therefore the lowest weir on the Werse. The site is divided into a 10 m wide flap weir and a hydropower plant in the main body of water, i.e. there is no diversion. The power plant building is located on the left bank in the direction of flow. A larger scour basin is located directly below the flap weir. On the right bank there is a fixed boat portage upstream and downstream of the weir.
