The nature experience area is only a few meters away from Haus Wildenrath. Therefore, the nature protection station can be visited with children without a long hike.

There is a lot to discover on the grounds around Haus Wildenrath. The farm includes chickens, donkeys, sheep and cows. The nature experience area with Weidendorf, Kescherteich and themed gardens offers many opportunities for play and suggestions for natural garden design.

The self-service shop here belongs to the Haus Wildenrath e.V. nature conservation station and offers an area with information material (flyers and hiking maps) as well as a small self-service shop.
Behind the building is a nice area with several places to sit, making this a great place to rest.
There is also a small maze behind the building if you feel like taking an alternative route.July 22, 2022

Really beautiful and lovingly decorated place. A pig lives here, currently a few sheep and horses and lots of insects. There is a maze, a pond, a school education center and rest areas too!

The place gives inspiration! The huge insect hotel, for example, is impressive. When I was there, new trees were being planted.
