A castle whose beginnings go back to the 12th century. Splendid-baroque-elegant, at the same time homely-close to nature-private. In its versatility, always in harmony with its surroundings. Formerly an imperial hunting lodge, today part of the Donau-Auen National Park and carefully preserved by the federal forests. Outwardly respectful and well preserved, inside, true masters of their craft, Fischer von Erlach the Younger, Mattielli and Gran were allowed to lend a hand.
