The Heilig-Hartbeeld overlooks Assent (Bekkevoort) from the ridge of the Prinsenbos. The residents of Assent placed this image of Jesus Christ as a kind of thanksgiving, because the bombs of a heavy bombing during World War II did not fall on Assent but in the surrounding fields.
