The current parish church, commissioned by the archpriest Don Gregorio De Lotto and designed by Marco Poliaghi, was built in neo-Gothic style between 1889 and 1898 and consecrated - as a plaque affixed in 1954 recalls - on March 23 of that same year by the patriarch of Venice Giuseppe Sarto, future Pope Pius X.
