Pisselberg–Hitzacker Cycle Route

I often take the route via Pisselberg when I cycle from Dannenberg to Hitzacker (or from Hitzacker to Dannenberg). Unfortunately, there are also quite a few cars on the road here, which often hardly keep their distance when overtaking (the road is not very wide and drivers would have to drive with one tire (or one side) on the hard shoulder to keep enough distance when overtaking.
The street is surrounded by fields and meadows and occasionally a wild boar crosses the street (you can see it in my photos). Deer, storks, herons and various birds of prey can also often be seen here.

The route has now been converted into a bicycle street. The speed limit within towns is 30 km/h and outside towns it is 50 km/h. (As of summer 2024)

Pisselberg is a cute village!
