Here we are again in the layer of the middle red sandstone. Although there are several quarries in the Reyershausen area, some with considerable wall heights, higher natural rocks are much rarer here than in the Reinhäuser Forest, for example. It is interesting in terms of cultural history that this rock also has a recent quarry use.

After the "main cliff" some others can be seen from the hiking trail.

A very interesting looking Buntsandstein rock formation which can now be seen very clearly following extensive recent clearing work.
