Since October 2003, there is a cozy seat under the hawthorn. Chlodwig Poth created two caricature series for this space in GrünGürtel Stelen. With the usual knodderigem charm ("Stren genomme gehert e hawthorn eischentlich net in a green belt") he takes the green belt on the arm. Poth, who died in 2004, is an artist of the Neue Frankfurter Schule and creator of "Last Exit Sossenheim". He lived in Sossenheim for many years.
