The station Karlshagen settlement was the largest passenger station of the work of the Army Research Institute Peenemünde. He had 3 partly covered platforms, which could be reached by a pedestrian tunnel. For employees and family members, the use of the train Peenemünde was free. The wooden station building of the settlement Karlshagen is no longer preserved - exist the platforms, the departures and the pedestrian tunnel.

"[...] The Karlshagen Siedlung station was the largest station of the Peenemünde railway for passenger transport. It had three platforms, some of which were covered. These platforms could be reached from the settlement or from the Karlshagen camp (Lager Versuchs-Kommando Nord) via an underground pedestrian tunnel. [...]"
