The strudel pot was probably standing at the end of the last ice age.

A strudel pot on the left side of the path is particularly worth mentioning. It's really interesting how nature can create such a perfectly round hole with a few rotating stones. The fact that this hole is also relatively deep is even more surprising when you realize that normally there is never any water to be seen in the stream

The whirlpool is a funnel-shaped cavity formed by the flowing water of the Zscherregrund water, now the creek, in solid rock and was formed when the softer rock or sand was washed out 100 million years ago.
