The parish church of Our Lady is a brick and sandstone building, built in the classicist style of the end of the 18th century. Small tower (bell tower like in Schaffen), set between the extension of the only nave, a kind of projecting transept and a five-sided choir, flanked by sacristies (later outbuildings in the southeast).

The organ in the Church of Our Lady was built in 1834 for the abbey of Averbode. In 1862 the organ was moved to Molenstede. The author of the instrument is A. Graindorge from Liège.
