Depending on the water level, you will find small to larger sandbanks from here and further downstream. Downriver after the next weir is a popular place for children in summer. Here you can splash around in the water (watch out for the water level). The path with access from the Gerasmühle passage can, if the water meadows are flooded, possibly become a dead end, as the other end of the footpath is then separated by a canal. Don't be fooled here, the water can be deep enough for a full bath;)
