Tips
Gorgeous route! Top asphalt and wonderful switchbacks. An absolute must-ride in the Rur-Eifel! I think the direction Schmidt-Vossenack is ideal, you can walk down from Schmidt and the switchbacks to Vossenack are great for climbing.

easy to drive in both directions. Personally, I prefer to drive towards Vossenack, then the curves give you more variety on the climb. But the curves downhill are also easy to drive and, above all, pretty fast, although they flatten out a bit towards the bottom.
