The Palace Hotel, built in 1909-10, is one of the masterpieces of the architect Anton Rosen. The reliefs on the tower were made by the sculptor Johannes Kragh. In 1985 the hotel was listed as a historical monument. It is one of the buildings that give the entire town hall square its character.
